Maggie Sandberg (b. 2007) is a multidisciplinary artist committed to creativity through extensive play. Her work combines over a decade of sewing experience with a deep love of theatre, fine art, craft, and a loyal passion for detailed handywork. Her expressions develop as ceramic vessels, embroidered self-portraits, essays, textile patterns, and garments. Maggie loves to work with unconventional materials and is known for her expansive dresses. She studied theatre at Interlochen Arts Camp, Apparel Design and Construction at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (23’), and Apparel Design at Rhode Island School of Design (24’). She is now working towards her B.S. in Fashion Design from Cornell University. She hopes to combine her love of creative storytelling with her passion for justice and problem-solving to collaborate on wide-scale solutions.
